new friends

so the other day, i was having a chat with a friend..a sort of recently made friend..it's kinda nice to make new friends once in a while..they give you a different perspective on things you already know about yourself

new friends also know you for who are you now..not who you used to be and not how you came to be who you are..this makes them a little less judgmental i suppose

anyways, i like my new friend cuz she takes me away from the world i feel a little stuck in..she represents the present time and a little bit of who i want to be

new friends also ask questions..this makes you think and reflect on how you got to be where you are..then it makes you question if this is where you want to be

that is a hard question
