All moved in!

Sometime in February when we were getting super anxious because our lease was ending, we stumbled across a brand new beautiful townhouse/condo complex being built in North York. 1.5 months later we were moving into our brand new 2 storey/3 bedroom/3 bathroom townhouse. Also somewhere in between there, it felt like we were signing our lives away for the unknown.

I say the unknown because there was (and still is) so much we did not know about the house as it was a brand new, never lived in place. For instance, we have no idea how much maintenance fees will increase by, no idea what the population of the complex will be composed of and no idea if the location was really good for us.

All that aside, we took a leap of faith anyway and so far, so good.

What I wasn't prepared for was that we were moving quite far away from the heart of the city. On my first walk to the subway for work in the morning, I came across 2 gigantic geese blocking my way. My first thought was "what the heck are geese doing in Toronto?" Then I realized that I'm really not in TO anymore and that was a realization I'm still coming to terms with. The bright side was that it reminded me of days in Waterloo where running into geese was the norm.

I guess we'll hafta see how this new adventure plays out.
